Cain v. Healthtrust, Inc.
We represented a major hospital company in defending a class action lawsuit with claims of fraud and breach of fiduciary duty in connection with a merger. After we successfully removed the case from a state court in rural Alabama, and after protracted certification and discovery battles, the U.S. District Court in Marshall, Texas entered a take-nothing judgment against plaintiffs during the course of the trial.
